Beatnik is taking a long holiday
Sorry, all, but I'm going to have to bow out of BEATNIK production for the foreseeable future, so everybody who's waiting on a poem or poems to appear on this page will have to manfully swallow the disappointment and send the stuff elsewhere. When or whether BEATNIK - or something like it - will return I don't know.
Why the big decision, I hear you ask? Many reasons: time (or lack of it); the need I have to devote my attentions to what seem, at the moment, more pressing things, such as political activity, and earning a living so my girlfriend and I can pay our heating bills; wanting to give more energy to my own writing; and I'll be honest with you, my gradual loss of interest in the project.
The page will stay up until Blogger removes it so if anyone wants to dig out lost copies of old poems or steal someone else's (joking), they've got plenty of time to do it.
